A place of teaching and training
Each year the Centre trains the surgeons, doctors and caregivers who specialise in the liver, bile ducts and pancreas.
The Hepato-Biliary Centre is a school dedicated to teaching hepato-biliary and pancreatic diseases. Each year it welcomes more than a hundred students — doctors and caregivers alike.
Attractive to young residents from across France, each semester it receives students from the Paris region and beyond, medical students from Université Paris-Saclay, more than fifty trainees from around the world, as well as nurses and nursing assistants in training.
Diplomas & training
The Centre's teams organise or teach several university and inter-university diplomas, along with continuing-education days (Master Class, Preceptorship).

A place to pass on knowledge
An 85-seat hall, with a direct video link to two operating rooms, hosts more than 800 hours of lectures a year. The annual multidisciplinary congress — surgery, hepatology, radiology, nursing — brings together more than 400 participants. A specialist library and a dedicated librarian make scientific literature easy to access.
